Leyal Semerciyan-Task 1

I have created several patterns using different colours and materials. As my first step, I observed the surroundings, objects and colours really carefully. Instead of picturing and drawing what I see, I added some differences such as additional lines and shapes. This process allowed me to develop my drawings. For instance one of my inspiration was the brick red buildings and instead of focusing on the windows and the shape of the building I decided to use the outline bit as my inspiration. By adding skewed lines I came up with a totally different outcome and to avoid wandering off the subject I used warm colours to symbolise the redbricks on the building and cold colours for the sky. Overall, I liked how I developed the things that I saw and how I came up with really bald patterns however I can see the lack of using different materials.
