For task two, I decided to explore further with things I see daily. Based on task 1, I made 10 drawings based on plants that I saw around the park. and based on task 1, I decided to see my drawings in forms of shapes, and space. Therefore I created 8 drawings in different forms of space in the use of dots and lines.

Furthermore, I visited Tottenham court road underground station and got inspired. by mosaic wall art by Eduardo Paolozzi. By seeing how irregular shaped stones placed in order to create the whole art piece, I decided to try it out with different materials.

Finally, I tried to create a different patterns based on color block background for prints.

For the Talking Colour project, my inspiration came from objects that I see around me. For example, flowers by my house inspired me to create floral prints by using color blocks with dots and lines for shading. My color choice came from Japanese traditional woodblock prints that I saw in an art gallery, they used lots of red, yellow, grey, black and white, and I found it is making a very strong visual impact.

To explore further, I also used real plants and spray on it to leave the marks on my prints. It was hard to pin the plants on a paper, but the process was very fun. I used tried out different color combinations with color papers and sprays.

In addition, to explore more use of colors and mix media, I tried out different medium to create textures, I used watercolors, acrylic inks, color pencils and line pens.

Just to show extra work, I recreated one of my favorite sculpture: Mademoiselle Pogany by Constantin Brancusi by using color blocks. I chose a deep and light blue to separate the light and shadey parts of the work.
